To effect a change in list ownership please follow these steps: 1] Current list owner sends a message to listmaster@lists.uoregon.edu nominating a new owner, and CC's the message to the nominee. 2] The nominee reads the "Managing a Majordomo List" documentation: http://cc.uoregon.edu/mailinglists/manage.html and responds to the listowner and listmaster stating that he/she understands the task of list-ownership and is willing to take on list: foo (listname here) using address: me (email address here) 3] listmaster makes the change and notifies both the old and new owners via email. The list passwords will be sent to both parties. NOTE: a new owner will need to subscribe to the list in question if he/she is not a current member!
